About Me

Photo of MarcusI'm Marcus Deglos and this is my personal blog, where I talk about things that interest me, from technology, PHP and Drupal to photography, scuba diving and outdoor activities.

I work across a number of roles in web technology in the UK, covering software engineering, solutions architecture, and consultancy on the software development lifecycle (such as building development teams and the setting up their infrastructure). I specialise in Drupal and PHP, and I've contributed to a number of open-source projects including PEAR (a framework and distribution system for reusable PHP components) and Drupal (where I've contributed to core and maintain a number of modules).

I've presented at a number of technology conferences, including DPC, PHP North West, Drupalcon, and many smaller Drupal camps.

My random tweets are here: @manarth.

If you would like to get in touch, you can send an email via this site's contact form.

I founded a Drupal services company Techito in 2012, which I'm slowly growing, so please get in touch if you have a project that you'd like me or my team to help with.
